flint '_' kozmyra is the pseudonym of a many-named void entity most inconveniently bound to a semi-functioning physical form. that form, or the soul within, is jewish, queer, trans, uses he/him pronouns, and is thrilled to be approaching thirty years of age. he is an anarchist. he is currently mostly human, but is hoping to become a mycelial lifeform in due time.
his work consists of many variations of alchemical marriages of writing, visual arts, storytelling, textiles, and whatever else he happens to get his hands on. his great struggle is in seeing those unions out to the point where others can enjoy them - but he is working on that. he's currently writing several games for strange times, focusing on strange mechanics.
like many jews and queers, both before and after him, he is heavily preoccupied with themes of death, grief, transformation, discovery, solace, revolution, dread, and, of course, shenanigans.
upcoming works:
YOU LIVE WITHIN THE BONES OF THE LAST GREAT DRAGON, AND SHE HAS GROWN SO SICK. - a short ritual game about diagnosing and healing a dying dragon, that you live inside of, which is played by individuals or small groups by physically and/or metaphysically cleaning
their dwelling-space.
[untitled] - a solo noir investigation game. welcome to the city of Limina, where we're all just passing through. ask questions. find answers. hope they let you sleep at night. built on the original upcoming "lenoirmand" system. co-written & designed by k.w.
seventh sanctuary - a setting-agnostic rpg about a group of unlikely allies at the apotheosis of their storied lives banding together to help a small community defend themselves against a dastardly and overwhelming imperialist villain, inspired by the seven samurai/magnificent seven. featuring the original "lucky sevens" system!
ADAPTATION - a two-phase belonging-outside-belonging game about a team of specialists sent on a mission by a clandestine government agency, trespassing within a deep into an unfathomable and transformative wilderness. the first phase is about the horror they find there, and the way it catches up to them. the second phase is about the beauty they find in what they are becoming. (inspired by the Southern Reach trilogy by Jeff VanderMeer.)
Adyta Arcanum - a divination-based mapmaking and roleplaying game of adventurers finding themselves wandering the endless corridors of a strange and ever-changing labyrinth. four islands, all lost in a cosmic sea, spilling out from four ancient cloisters; none remain who yet know whether the adyta were first built to hold the aeons held within them as gods, or as monsters. [if i finish this in the next four years it will be ten years old! it is just very big and sprawling still]
