flint kozmyra is a working pseudonym of an grower, maker, mender, talespinner, and natural philosopher, who sometimes applies any and all of those ways of being to the making and playing of that which might sometimes be called "games", but more usually can be found applying aspects of so-called "games" and "game design" to other aspects of art, craft, and life in general.
flint's first games were playground games, many of which became significantly more popular than they were amongst their peers at the time. some were more abstract role-playing games, some akin to LARP, several involving complex token economies, mini-games, dynamic rulesets, and aspects of what might be called "augmented reality". they were also raised playing in the society for creative anarchronism, which has certainly informed their ideas of what a game can be, and how vast.
these days, flint has a particular fascination for the ways in which games might mesh with and overlay mundane life, rendering the life less mundane, and the game more alive, in the process, and with the ways in which game design can resemble teaching tales (such as those found in buddhism or hasidic judaism), and vice versa.
they hope to weed the garden of their vocations, dreams, ideas, and many, many unfinished projects and someday (perhaps sooner than later), be able to harvest from it a few things that might be shared. when they do, it seems likely that they will do some of that sharing here.
